Aggregate Heating Equipment

The Aggre-Flo® aggregate heater is designed to heat coarse and fine aggregates in bins to eliminate ice and frozen chunks during cold weather months. Aggregates for concrete production are heated to a consistent temperature with dry heat so no additional moisture is added into the mix. This allows concrete producers to keep aggregates flowing from their bins and get consistent batch quality, even during the coldest months.

The system includes a PLC with an IP65 rated 7" color touchscreen display mounted in a NEMA 4 watertight electrical enclosure.  This provides the ability to program operation of up to 6 bins. A 7 day per week schedule for operation can be set for each bin.  Machine status and fault codes can be viewed with the onboard diagnostic tools.  An optional expansion for an additional 4 bins is available if required. Control the unit from anywhere with a Sioux Sentinel Pro subscription and a web enabled device.

Unit is available with either a LP or Natural Gas fired burner.  Unit can be used with the customer's existing bin diffusers if appropriately sized.  Requires thermocouple and thermowells in each bin for controlling the temperature as well as plumbing ducting from the unit to each bin.  If desired, Sioux can assist determining and providing, for an additional charge, the proper diffuser design for the application

Sioux Sentinel is included with the Sioux AFH2 aggregate heater to provide real-time monitoring and remote connectivity on the same local network as a computer, tablet, or phone.

Sioux Sentinel Pro^TM is a subscription service that provides these upgrades:
