Aggregate Heating for Precast Concrete
During the winter months, aggregate heating is needed by precast concrete producers. Sioux’s Aggre-Flo® aggregate heater is designed to heat coarse and fine aggregates to eliminate ice and frozen chunks during winter. Aggregates are heated to a consistent temperature with dry heat that does not introduce moisture into the aggregate. This allows precast producers to keep aggregates flowing from their bins and get consistent batch quality, even during the coldest months.
