The size of heater necessary is determined by several factors.  Minimum information necessary to begin this process is volume of water per hour, inlet water temperature, desired water temperature, and size of storage tank available.  

Yes, Sioux has 1,000 and 2,500 gallon water tank packages available with either a 10HP or 15HP main discharge pump. An optional 3, 5, or 7.5HP secondary pump is available if you desire water for two different applications.  Tanks are available in either carbon or stainless steel material and with or without spray foam insulation.

Yes, water quality is very important.  Scale from heating hard water can form on the inside of heating coils resulting in lower heat transfer efficiency.  Water treatment will help minimize scale build up.  Contact Sioux for further details.

Yes, Sioux Clean water treatment can be used to minimize scale build up in water heaters.  For best results, a water sample of the make-up water should be provide to test what minerals are in the water to determine the proper dosage.

Within 2-3 minutes, a Sioux water heater will provide outlet water at its maximum temperature.

Yes, Sioux offers a combination burner that will fire on all three different fuel types. This adds a great deal of versatility to any operation.

Yes, Sioux offers blending valve packages that will allow you to use water from your heated storage tank and mix with cold water to fill side tanks.  This will help reduce the amount of high temperature hot water used to fill side tanks.

The motorized damper will automatically open when there is a call for heat before the burner turns on and will close when the burner turns off.  When closed, it deters cold air from coming down the exhaust directly onto the heating coil providing added protection during cold weather.
