Reduce Water Usage
Sioux Steam-Flo Steam Generators are commonly used for heating rail tank cars. Sioux offers a portable Condensate Return System to be connected to our trailer or stationary mounted Steam-Flo Steam Generators during the rail tank car heating process. The system captures and recycles all the condensate/water to create a closed-loop system.

To operate the system, a manifold with a steam trap is connected to the railcar, the condensate drains into a stainless steel water tank by gravity, and then a pump that is connected to level switches pumps the condensate directly back into the Steam-Flo Steam Generator. The pump is TEFC and all components are water tight designed for use outdoors. The Condensate Return System is also compatible with other boilers.
